In addition to her PharmD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Porto, Portugal, Paula Barbosa holds a MSc in Global Health Policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. In 2011, she joined the Rare Diseases Business Unit at GlaxoSmithKline in London, covering the Latin American region, before moving to roles in Global Vaccines at GSK’s Brussels headquarters from 2012 to 2015.

Paula is now based in Geneva, where, as Vaccines Policy Manager at the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations, she is responsible for its Influenza Vaccine Supply International Task Force as well as vaccine regulatory and programmatic policy, norms and standards.
